Measurement, Monitoring and Verification Guide template
This document was developed as part of direct support provided by the Zero Carbon Accelerator to an NHS Trust, and is intended to help other organisations delivering solar PV installations.
It provides guidance for organisations, particularly NHS Trusts and other healthcare bodies, on developing and implementing strong measurement, monitoring and verification (MM&V) arrangements to support the transparent assessment of system performance after installation.
The guidance sets out the key principles, methods, and minimum expectations for monitoring and verifying solar PV generation. It is designed to be flexible so it can be used across different estate types, project sizes, and procurement routes. It can support the development of contract documentation, commissioning and handover requirements, and ongoing performance reviews, and may also be applied to existing solar PV installations where appropriate.
