What does the Alliance do?

The Alliance provides the technical support offered by the Zero Carbon Accelerator. There is a wealth of expertise in the Alliance of seventeen organisations, spanning energy solutions to zero carbon strategy, retrofit to support with preparing for finance and funding opportunities. Through this Alliance, which include organisations from micro-SMEs up to large companies, the GLA shows its commitment to growing the supply chain.

The Mayor of London is delivering the Zero Carbon Accelerator in collaboration with Mott MacDonald, Energy Saving Trust and an alliance of experts: ACA Studios, Altair, Ambue, Arthian, ClimateView, COWI, EEVS, Energiesprong UK, ERM, IES, Pascall+Watson Architects, Pollard Thomas Edwards, Retrofit Academy, Roger Simpson-Jones and Zerogram.

Working with local authorities and housing associations, Ambue specialises in delivering grant funded SHDF PAS2035 retrofit for social housing landlords. Their services include identifying and rectifying disrepair, damp and mould, to enhance indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and resident comfort.

Ambue’s team of architects, retrofit coordinators and designers are supported by handpicked Retrofit Assessors, LiDAR Photographers and Pulse Air Testers. By offering training, advice, and verification EEVS ensures IPMVP best practice Measurement & Verification (M&V) is baked-into project set up and delivery. This will yield credible energy and carbon saving results that will drive continual improvement, build momentum, and accelerate uptake.

Energiesprong UK works with local authorities, housing providers, building firms and the supply chain to:
